Horse and Rider Coaching
WORKING TOGETHER
Coaching and training my clients and their horses to gain a harmonious relationship and reach their full potential

RIDING CORRECTION AND DRESSAGE
Carl Hester once said "buy the horse you can afford and put your money into finding a good coach'. Every horse deserves the chance to develop correctly and receive the correct training. I coach my clients in the developing of basic skills like rhythm and balance, then work up to more complex skills like straightness and collection. Dressage is my passion and whether you have a dressage superstar or a reluctant happy hacker, I'll help you get it right.

GAINING CONNECTION AND UNDERSTANDING YOUR HORSE
Understanding at least basic horse behaviour is an important part of responsible horse ownership. All too often the rider and the horse either don't hear or misunderstand each other, be it side by side or in the saddle. Learning how and when to communicate and how and when to reward can lead to opening up a bond that may never have been experienced.

EDUCATING A YOUNG HORSE AND RE-EDUCATING AN ESTABLISHED HORSE
From the first halter to the introduction of tack, educating the young horse is a huge privilege. Often clients like to keep youngsters at home rather than send them away to be educated. I've had great success as a chief hand holder and on-hand coach to many equestrians starting their first youngster. It's fun and very rewarding. I'm experienced in re-educating the more mature horse who needs to go back to basics. So, whether you're needing somebody to help guide you through the process or do it for you, please get in touch.
My work includes: communication, ground work, long lining and lunging.

DEVELOPMENT, PROGRESSION AND REHABILITATION.
I can structure lessons to improve balance, suppleness, strength and straightness to help develop muscle and tone and impulsion. I have also worked alongside the vet and physio to support equine cases rehabilitate after injury and sickness.
